The laser operation is totally safe. It is a very proven and widely available technique that has been done to millions of people over the last 20 years.

Before the operation, a preoperative study takes place in which a large number of anatomical parameters (corneal thickness, topographic features, topometric indices, etc.) are systematically tested and corneal biomechanical behaviour is analysed. The surgery is done only when all safety requirements have been met.
